Multiple pairs of ripped, torn hand glazed fired ceramic shards strung on copper wire are draped over a copper pipe and suspended from the ceiling. The rough, rippled, dry edges of the palm-sized shards stand in contrast to the glittering sparkle wave of copper wire that entangles them. Blue, green, brown, black and white glazes appear to melt and flow with the breeze in the hanging multiple piece sculpture, “Veil of Shards”
