The watcher is one of four pieces made from my life drawing sketches. Using the line drawings I created patterns for the bodies and developed a unique process for these pieces. The bodies are cloth painted with fabric paints and embellished with vintage materials. The box is an antique sewing drawer. The slender quiet figure is watching and waiting for someone...
