The National Arts Club (NAC), currently celebrating its 125th anniversary, is a non-profit organization with the mission to stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts and to educate the American people in the fine arts. The Club is situated in Gramercy Park in New York City.

The NAC Artist Fellowship program, established in 2019, provides a select number of established young professional artists (21 years of age or older) with one year of full membership to the historic club, with the goal of furthering their careers. The chosen Artist Fellows can be working in any one (or more) of the disciplines reflected in the NAC’s arts committees, adhering to the Club’s core values of championing all facets of the evolving American artistic landscape: Archeology, Architecture, Art and Technology, Culinary Arts, Dance, Decorative Arts, Fashion, Film, Fine Arts, Literature, Music, Photography, and Theater.

Artist Fellows will be provided with complimentary Club membership, providing access to the historic clubhouse, public programs and discounted private overnight rooms. The Artist Fellowship provides opportunities for the recipient to be featured in Club programming and presentations.Artist Fellows are selected by a rotating jury comprised of arts specialists, NAC Board members, and previous Artist Fellows. To be considered for a National Arts Club Artist Fellowship, applications must be received by September 1, 2023. NAC Fellowship recipients will be informed of their selection in mid- to late September, with the Fellowship starting in October, 2023. The application process is open to all artists. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. Applicants of all backgrounds, including BIPOC artists are highly encouraged to apply. There is no residency with this fellowship. Applicants should reside within the NYC metro area to receive the maximum benefit from the fellowship.

The TEXCLIPSE Art Installation program offers the opportunity for artists to tap into their imagination and bring their ideas and creations to life. Artists and builders are invited to submit original works – from interactive sculptures of all sizes and scale to immersive spaces, and anything in between – to showcase at TEXCLIPSE. TEXCLIPSE will help fund and support winning projects, bringing new ideas and inspiration to our solar music event.

ROSL PHOTO 23 is FREE TO ENTER and offers £3,500 of prize money, an exhibition of shortlisted entries in London, winning images published in Overseas Magazine and open to any photographer 18+ who is a citizen of a Commonwealth or former Commonwealth Country, the USA, EU and EEA countries or Switzerland. ROSL will also except images that have a link to current countries of the Commonwealth from entrants outside of the geographical areas listed above.

This Residency takes place fifty miles south of Dallas, Texas in the historic downtown of Corsicana. Two oil booms in the 1890s and 1920s produced an exuberant setting which declined in care and use by the late-20th century, alongside the general compromise of small-town America. Since 2012 alongside downtown rejuvenation, founders of this project have established a collection of sites – 100 West, Storefront, Anteroom, Writers House – and the Corsicana Artist & Writer Residency supports international creative work inside this architecture and narrative bridging the cultural and geographic American South and West. The Residency shares this work in programs for education, exhibition and publication to develop transformative dialogue with audiences near and far.
100 West is a former Odd Fellows lodge virtually unaltered since its 1890s construction, preserved and minimally furnished for intensely focused studio and living space, with pieces designed and built by founding artists in the first-floor wood shop. Across the street is the Anteroom for window-front exhibitions, and two-blocks south is the Residency’s Storefront for books and art. The Writers House accommodates alumni ten-blocks west in the Carriage District neighborhood.

City of Costa Mesa invites artists across Southern California to submit entries for their annual juried art show, October 27 - November 5, 2023 at the Norma Hertzog Community Center in Costa Mesa, CA. Awards total $3,100. All forms of visual arts are accepted.

This juried photo competition hosted by Stein Ward Studio recognizes photographers for their work in an open theme event. It’s open to all amateur and professional photographers from all over the world, and selected works will be placed in our online gallery. The 6th Annual Plein Air on the Santa Cruz is a five-day workshop and retreat held at the Historic Rancho Santa Cruz in Tumacacori, AZ, culminating with an art exhibition and sale at Tubac Center of the Arts.

La Napoule Art Foundation offers artists-in-residence a unique environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and creativity at the Château de La Napoule. Removed from the distractions of daily life and surrounded by the inspiring light of the Mediterranean, LNAF residencies provide an unencumbered setting to exchange ideas and create.

International group residencies offer up to ten artists the opportunity to live and work at the Château de La Napoule complex. These residencies focus on individual artistic expression and exploration. La Napoule Art Foundation and Fondation David R. Graham are pleased to bring together Canadian artists of all genres to a new residency program in which artists will receive inspiration, support, and opportunities for career growth, while strengthening the intercultural connection between Canada and France. ENTRY PROCEDURE
Entry is done through CaFÉ, a web-based service that allows artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submissions to galleries. To apply for a call, you must leave our website and go to the CaFÉ website at www.callforentry.org where you can create a FREE artist account. You will add your details and upload your images to CaFÉ and then you can submit work to INNER SENSE. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] we are happy to walk you through the process.

MEDIA PREPARATION
Please only submit properly cropped images of your work that are in focus.
All images must be in JPEG/JPG format using CaFÉ guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side. Maximum file size is 5 mb.
Accepted video formats include MOV, MP4, WMV. Aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, resolution minimum 640x480, maximum 1920 x1080, bit rate recommended above 240 kbps, recommended frame rate 30 fps. File size must be under 100 MB.

NOTIFICATION
Notification will be done by email, everyone who submits will be notified of the juror’s selections. If for any reason you do not hear from us by the notification date, please check the filters in your email account. Notification emails are sent to the email on file with CaFÉ.

SALES
All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist’s website and/or contact information. For any artwork that is sold, the artists receive 100% of the sale.

GIVING BACK
A portion of the proceeds from the entry fees is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.

REQUIRED FORMS
Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding within the United States. A W-9 form must be filled out by the winner and submitted to Art Fluent, Inc.

By entering our calls for art through CaFÉ you are agreeing to be added to Art Fluent's email list for forthcoming artist opportunities. By submitting images, you agree that the images are your own work, nothing copied, you own all rights to the images, and you take full responsibility for the content of all images, including the likeness of recognizable individuals. The actual artwork will remain the property of the artist, our mission is to promote artists and their work. S.C.R.A.P. Gallery is partnering with the Cathedral City Peace Initiative to host Pieces For Peace, observing the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, 2023. The U.N. General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.

The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship is a new initiative at Palm Beach State College made possible by a generous grant from the Helen M Salzberg family. The fellowship aims to provide support for contemporary visual artists in Palm Beach County and works collaboratively with the Studio Art Program at Palm Beach State College.

Artwork submissions must be photographs of the finished physical work oriented correctly that would hang in the gallery to be considered. Works in Progress, Digital Renderings of artwork, mock-ups, misleading edited photos of finished physical works, and digital artworks that have not yet been printed will not be accepted.

Submission of work to this exhibition will constitute an agreement to comply with all the rules, conditions and requirements listed on the attached guideline form. All sales will be processed through the Oxford Arts Alliance (OxAA).

The OxAA will retain 40% of sales of artwork for services rendered. Members of the OxAA will have 30% retained for sales of artwork.

Artwork not for sale should be marked “NFS.” We will not accept work marked “Price on Request.”

Include the cost of the prepaid return label in the price of your artwork should your artwork sell during the exhibition.

Include the cost of Pennsylvania Sales Tax (6%) in the price of your artwork should your artwork sell during the exhibition.

Display of Work

Entries should not exceed 60 inches (5 feet) in any direction (including the frame).

Shipped works should not exceed 100lbs and must be hand delivered.

Two-dimensional works should be mounted or framed with a hanging wire one-third of the way down from the top of the artwork.

Three-dimensional works should be mounted on a suitable base.

Artwork must be on display for the entirety of the show, regardless of its sale status or need for another location or purpose.

The OxAA has the right to reject any entry that is not suitable for display. Artwork that is shipped to us without the proper display method will be returned immediately.

Delivery and Return of Work

Liability

The OxAA will insure artwork that is accepted into the exhibition for two-thirds of the listed price with a net max of $1000 per item. The OxAA will not be responsible for minor nicks to frames, breakage to glass or scratches to plexiglass.

Shipping materials used to send artwork will be preserved for returning of artwork to the best of our ability. Your artwork must be packed with cardboard corners, bubble wrap, styrofoam, foam cushion, etc. Do not expect your package to arrive safely without any precautionary measures. The OxAA will not protect your artwork with any extra packaging than what was provided to us in its return.

All packages shipped will be photographed upon delivery for proof of the external condition of packing materials and video recorded upon opening for proof of internal conditions of packing materials and artwork. Any damages discovered will be reported to the artist upon discovery. The OxAA will not be responsible for any damages present upon delivery. All claims will need to be made by the artist and directed to the delivery company used.

Verum invites artists to explore, "The Living Mark" and enter work that is any interpretation of the call. The intention of the call is not to drive the work, but to spark an impetus, and discover unique visions to showcase. ALL MEDIUMS are welcome. Mark making is an integral part of the creative process & the evidence of the artist’ hand is paramount. Successful works seem to be enlivened by these marks (whether abstract or representational). This call emphasizes the process with a focus on the individual style (whether impassioned, studied, or subdued). What kind of marks and/or mediums do you use? Or perhaps you see the theme as a chance to express art as a metaphor for life itself & our relationship to this driving force? What is your personal interpretation of this metaphoric vehicle, “The Living Mark”?

What is art in the 21st century?

The discourse on the nature of art in the 21st century has never been more intriguing. While some creators remain firmly rooted in the traditions of their craft, others boldly venture into uncharted territories, invoking a constant debate around the central question - What Is Art? What makes it valuable?

In the modern art world, it's evident that success doesn't adhere to a single style or approach. The diverse paths taken by some of the world's most renowned and affluent artists underscore the idea that every unique style of art can become valuable.

'Art' is not an easily defined concept. This is why we've invited two of the world's leading art thinkers to share their insights at the opening event of this exhibition on the 8th of September:
Yuxi Wang, International Project Director from Shanghai Himalayas Museum, and Anthony Fawcett, art critic and historian from Oxford University.

Yuxi Wang's vast experience as an International Project Director at a renowned museum equips her with a deep understanding of global art trends and practices. Her insights will be invaluable, providing us a unique perspective on the diverse world of contemporary art.

A highly respected art critic and historian, Anthony Fawcett is renowned for his collaborations with iconic artists such as Man Ray, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Andy Warhol. His significant contributions to the "Anthony Fawcett Archive" project with the Tate Gallery further enhance his status. His insights into "What Is Art?" are sure to be invaluable.

This exhibition is designed not merely to showcase art but to stimulate conversation between divergent paths within contemporary art. The aim is to prove that success in the art world is not a monolithic concept but a spectrum of possibilities, each as valid and valuable as the next.

Our gallery is located in the vibrant heart of the iconic Tower Bridge area in London. An elegant blend of historical richness and modern energy, our space serves as an extraordinary platform for artists and audiences alike.

Submission Guidelines:

To apply, email us three images of your work (three different pieces), each with its title, size in cm, medium, price, and a short biography of no more than 150 words. Email submissions should be sent to [email protected].

Application is free, but a £165 fee applies for each selected artist. This fee covers an extensive suite of benefits:

H2O: Shifting Currents
Water is essential to life, without fixed form, reflective, a conductor and wet. It can represent cleansing, purity, power, wisdom, an open heart and mind, and change. The UMLAUF is a museum and beautiful outdoor sculpture garden located in central Austin exhibiting numerous artistic works of American sculptor Charles Umlauf. Since 1998, the Austin Museum Partnership has coordinated Austin Museum Day, a community event which offers free admission and includes special programs and activities at museums and cultural institutions across the area.
Museum Day is a popular and well-attended family event in Austin. Texas Society of Sculptors has participated in exhibiting at the UMLAUF on Museum Day for over 20 years and expects more than 1,500 visitors at the UMLAUF between 11:00am and 4:00pm, based on past experience.

The Perfect Black: Visual Expressions of the Southern, Rural, African American Experience Exhibition is a competitive, southeastern regional exhibition organized by the Webber Gallery of the College of Central Florida. This exhibition will accept artwork of any medium focused on the Visual Expressions of the Southern, Rural, African American Experience. Kentucky Poet Laureate Crystal Wilkinson’s 2021 book of Poetry, Perfect Black, leans on her deep love for her rural roots and a passion for language and storytelling about girlhood, imbued with vivid imagery of growing up in Southern Appalachia. It is with that same muse that the Webber Gallery at the College of Central Florida calls visual artists to submit to Perfect Black: Visual Expressions of the Southern, Rural, African American Experience. The Design Trust for Public Space is looking for photographers to apply for its Photo Urbanism Fellowship. This year's fellow will work with the Green Space Connections project, documenting community-designed green space at NYC public housing developments. The fellowship includes a $15,000 stipend and a solo exhibition.

Program Overview:

We believe that photography is vital to understanding our shared environment and is a powerful tool for illuminating the city’s complex public realm. The Photo Urbanism Program was founded in 2001 to support the creation of new work that explores New York City’s public space. The 2023-2024 Photo Urbanism Fellow will create a self-driven photography project with NYCHA’s open spaces and the variety of ways residents use them. The role of the Photo Urbanism Fellow is to use artistic and journalistic photography/videography to capture the human, personal narratives that exist in these spaces.

The Photo Urbanism Fellow will dedicate 5% of their fellowship to administrative tasks such as attending meetings, invoicing, and tracking expenses; 20% of the fellowship to provide mentorship to young photographers; the remaining 75% will be to developing project work, including, but not limited to, photographing, editing images, developing programming, and exhibition planning.

Curated by artist, and cultural producer Kristine Schomaker, this exhibition draws inspiration from Kristine's "Perceive Me", where she posed for 60+ artists, asking them to create nude portraits of her.

The City of Rome is requesting proposals from any professional artist or artist teams for a Sculpture or Installation for the West Dominick Street Art District. West Dominick Street is a major commercial corridor that is home to a number of small businesses and a vibrant art community within downtown
Rome. This roadway provides residents and visitors access to the Capitol Theatre Complex, restaurants, cafes and art studios. Due to the large presence of the arts and cultural district, the Erie Boulevard BOA recommended public art installations be sited along West Dominick Street as a way to promote the art community and rich history within the City of Rome.

After successfully receiving funding from the New York State Department of State under the Brownfield Opportunity Areas Program, the City is now able to implement this portion of the Erie Boulevard BOA and will site additional art installations to enhance the Art Walk Corridor in the West Dominick Street Arts District. The project seeks to use strategic placemaking via art as a way to strengthen the downtown district, ultimately attracting more visitors and residents. The Central New York Artist Initiative builds upon the Everson Museum of Art’s ongoing support of the region’s vibrant arts community. Launched in January 2022, the Everson CNY Artist Initiative is an annual competitive program that highlights the multi-faceted talents of regional artists. Each year, Everson curators select artists to display their work in solo exhibitions at the Museum. Selections are based on the innovative quality of the work, how the work aligns with the Museum mission, and its relevance to the community.

CNY Artist Initiative exhibitions run for six to eight weeks and are displayed in the Museum's Members' Council Gallery. The gallery is 37.5 by 18.5 feet; proposed work must fit within this space.

Collage Magic Artist Residency: New Orleans

A five-day, in-person collage artist residency in New Orleans

Wednesday, 25 October to Sunday, 29 October 2023 (Halloween Weekend)

In our scientifically-minded modern world, little room is left for the the mystical, the esoteric, and the magical, but we contend that such things, irrational as they may be, are fundamental to the human experience and necessary liminal spaces in which people experience joy, process trauma, or otherwise work through complicated emotions that a rationalistic society is not set up to handle, if it doesn’t actively reject them. Magical traditions are often ancestral and also deeply embedded in communities. Many practitioners (particularly those of older generations) experience shame and ridicule when speaking openly about their experiences. For those living a diasporic existence, magic can be a fundamental connection to a homeland.

Artists have a role to play in nurturing and supporting magic traditions. Through our artwork, we can share stories, demystify histories, reinforce ancestral or community connections, and celebrate magical practices in ways that are safe, comfortable, and legible. We can make visible cosmologies other than those of the prevailing culture and hold space for alternative worldviews. At various times, such work can be profound acts of resistance, caring, or celebration. With its history of surrealism, collage in particular lends itself to this work.

Designed for collage artists, professional development sessions in Collage Magic Artist Residency: New Orleans focus on artist practice: topics include Collage in Theory; Copyright & Appropriation; Developing Context; Collaboration; and Collage in Presentation. We will explore contemporary art that references magic, altar making, and ritual practice and take a walking tour of New Orleans and explore the city as an archive of magic. A visit to the Historic New Orleans Voodoo Museum will afford us the opportunity to consider how contemporary practitioners are engaged with magic traditions in the 21st century. Louisiana-based artist and community worker LaVonna Varnado Brown will lead the four-hour workshop, “Uses of the Erotic”, the title of which comes from an essay by Audre Lorde which begins. “There are many kinds of power, used and unused, acknowledged or otherwise.” The workshop is a process by which we will raise our awareness of the erotic and its use as a source of power, healing, and self exploration. The erotic is a conduit to harness energy from a heart-centered space. We will engage in collage exercises and explore our will to create space to intentionally explore the use of the Erotic as power through symbols, printed image, and composition work ending with a collage in process. The power of the Erotic awakens the knowledge that satisfaction is possible. Join with the intention to explore as we make, discuss, and contemplate our will to access pleasure.

Residents will make a collage that will be published by Kolaj Institute in a book about collage and magic. The artwork will be exhibited at Kolaj institute during Kolaj Fest New Orleans, 12-16 June 2024. Artists who wish to develop proposals for larger contemporary art projects (books or exhibitions) will be invited to submit proposals for consideration.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Collage Magic Residency is in-person and centered on collage artists who want to develop their artist practice. Residencies are intended for self-motivated artists, regardless of the stage in their career, who want to develop their practice by exploring a topic or working method and collaborating with others to produce a final product and who want to develop a practice of making artwork that speaks about the role of magic in communities.

What is the selection process?

1. All submissions will be reviewed individually, and from the total number of submissions, the jury will preselect 50 artists who will also be shortlisted on our website.
2. After the preselection, the 50 preselected artists will be contacted individually by our gallery and asked to send additional works (another 2 or 3 pieces) that will help the jury make the final decision (there won’t be another submission fee).
3. Finally, the jury will select the 20 winners.

GENERAL INFO

* Artists of any country, age, and background can apply.
* You can submit works that have been previously exhibited or published.
* There are no thematic limitations.
* 2D works should not exceed 230x230 cm.
* 3D works (sculptures, installations) should not be bigger than 230 cm high and 150 cm wide on any side.
* You can apply with a minimum of 3 works and a maximum of 5.
* Cash awards will be paid to the winners within 48 hours after validating the votes.
* All 20 winners will be contacted individually regarding, exhibition dates, delivery and all the other details.
* The solo show is planned for January 2024, but the exact dates will be mutually agreed upon between the gallery and the winner of the 1st place.
* The group show is scheduled for November 2023. As mentioned above, all winners will be contacted individually at least three weeks in advance.
* Should any of the winners wish to attend the show in person but face visa restrictions, we will provide a letter of recommendation. This letter will be stamped and signed by both the gallery and the three esteemed judges of this grand competition.

switch is inviting artists working with film / moving image / lens based Media, to consider an application for switch 2023 responding to the theme of Play.

Scope of Proposal:

switch 2023 will be 8 lens based works by 8 artists.

These works will be installed in 8 different locations throughout the town centre of Nenagh and will run simultaneously from 4pm to midnight daily for one week.
The event itself will be accompanied by a small publication & a website.
You are invited to submit a proposal to show your lens based works. Please include a short statement describing your proposal and include a bio.

Payment:
An artist fee of Euro 225 will be paid to each artist for the showing of the work. [Please note VAT charges may be applicable.]

The School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts at Texas A&M University and the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley announce a call for work for Aberrant Creativity, a juried, international art exhibition.

Donna Harraway, in her “Cyborg Manifesto” (1985) wrote: “The machine is not an it to be animated, worshiped and dominated. The machine is us, our processes, an aspect of our embodiment. We can be responsible for machines; they do not dominate or threaten us. We are responsible for boundaries; we are they.”

With this exhibition, we want to create a space to explore the boundaries between our machines and ourselves; an opportunity for artists to challenge AI, to seduce AI into creative partnership, or lead it astray into play and joy. We hope to encourage responsible artistic experiments in embodiment and subversion, invention and hacking, community and connection between the human and the machine, and to exhibit these endeavors as opportunities to enter a strange new world.

Alongside the physical exhibition, there will be a virtual twin hosted online. The virtual exhibition will be live one week after the physical exhibition has opened. The link will be made public and shared at the time of the installation.

After the peak season of summer, the autumn months provide a quieter, serene environment as the weather slowly cools and nature’s colours gradually transform to tones of yellow, orange and red. In Nordingrå Konstby, this allows for you to work in a tranquil and transformative environment, whilst still finding local artists in our premises active at work and available for interaction.

Nordingrå Konstby’s artist residency is open to all artists, of any discipline. The residency is self-funded and self-directed. Our accommodation is comfortable, set in the beautiful surroundings of Nordingrå, known for its long tradition and history of art. The residence is situated in the heart of a dynamic and growing art community. When staying at our residence you are allocated your own accommodation and work studio.

The duration of our residency programme is two or four weeks.

Exceptional artist / researcher resident / guest community, or solitude if you please, in a bold vast space that invites for musing, far away from heavy civilization and buzzing crowds, and still within easy reach, in an unconquerable castle, a landscape straight out of a fairy-tale, in one of the world’s best climates by common consensus.

In order to be able to slow down life, we believe it is worth breaking our routines from time to time – this is why artist-in-residencies have spread as a way of enhancing creativity through (re)settling our minds. Our idea was that the notion of the AIR could be expanded by not having artists exclusively at the specific location, but enabling them to mix with academic researchers. We believe heterogeneity always helps, thus, the more people could broaden their comprehensions of their worlds, the better for humankind!

Duration of residency
The duration of this residency program is minimum two weeks.

The City of Lewisville, Texas, is currently constructing the Tittle McFadden Public Safety Center. The selection panel is looking for a unique, one-of-a-kind, monument-sized artwork that is appropriate for placement in front of a public safety facility and for the diverse Lewisville community. $320,000 (inclusive) budget.

The Umbrella Arts Center is pleased to accept submissions for the juried exhibition Fresh Ink: Contemporary Explorations in Printmaking. Printmakers from all across New England are invited to submit works created using printmaking processes that push the boundaries of the medium and speak to contemporary audiences. All work must include handmade techniques. No digital prints. Variations and combinations of woodcuts, linocuts, lithographs, aquatint, screenprinting, monoprints, etching, collagraphs, engraving, etc. will be considered. Juried by Carolyn Muskat

The PleinAir Salon Art Competition is a monthly online art competition that awards over $50,000 each year. There is $2,050 in Cash Prizes awarded each month, and $22,000 awarded at the Annual Competition each May. Each of the 23 monthly winners are included in the judging for the 13th Annual PleinAir Salon where we award the Grand Prize winner a check for $15,000 and feature their painting on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. Because this competition is created by PleinAir magazine, which features not only plein air paintings, but also studio paintings, all types of paintings are eligible and do not need to have been completed in plein air. The City of Lewisville, Texas, is currently constructing the Tittle McFadden Public Safety Center and has a strong desire to accent the new facility with a visually striking exterior public art installation outside the building's entrance. The placement and vision of the project lends itself to sculpture or similarly durable artwork in a range of materials proven able to withstand the extremes of Texas weather, with sufficient visual appeal to complement the scale and architecture of the building. Seeking a unique, one-of-a-kind, monument-sized artwork that is appropriate for placement in front of a public safety facility and for the diverse Lewisville community. Our vision is for something in a contemporary style that is visually striking and can be seen from the nearby intersection of Main Street and Valley Parkway. $320,000 USD budget.

Art Quarter Budapest (AQB) is an independent cultural institution set in the former Haggenmacher Brewery in Hungary. As an art center aqb contains ateliers, studios, a gallery, and community spaces. Around fifty Hungarian artists and creative enterprises found their constant base in the reconstructed industrial building complex. In our main non-profit gallery space, aqb Project Space we organize contemporary art exhibitions and art education programs collaborating with curators and other international institutions. Aqb also hosts other types of cultural programs like concerts, performances, readings, film screenings, workshops, and gastronomical events. Since 2013 aqb runs an international Artist-in-Residence program offers accommodation, a private studio, and a pop-up solo show in request.

Palazzo Monti is a cultural center hosting a residency program, an exhibition space and a private collection, founded in 2017 and located in Brescia, Italy. Covered by the Palazzo: private bedroom, private studio, monthly utilities, basic production supplies, participation to on-site events and dinners with guests and visitors.
Covered by the Artist: travel, food and supplies.

During your stay, there will be other artists in residency to share ideas with and get inspired by. While we can’t organize shows for each of the residents, we often organize a series of events to introduce your work to our contacts. These vary from open studios, private dinners, group shows and so on.

Duration of residency
The length varies based on availability, and we normally invite artists to come and stay for a full month, but shorter or longer stays may be an option.

Our residency provides you with the unique opportunity to focus on your art, whilst taking inspiration from the breathtaking scenery of the renowned High Coast of Sweden. Our art village is an active work place for artists and artists’ organisations.
