Raven Smith is a figurative oil painter currently located in Chicago, IL. She began her fine art training at The Chicago High School for the Arts in 2014 and graduated in May 2022 with her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently her work explores the escapist nature of cinematography and analyzes color psychology relationships. Raven has shown work in venues such as Navy Pier (Expo Chicago) , The Museum of Science and Industry ( Black Creativity), New York Academy of Art and a public park within the Oakland community of Chicago. In 2023 Raven provided her first ever artist grant available for artists ages 16-25 and is now working in preparation for her second solo exhibition “ A Spectrum of Disractions” with a paired tasting experience in 2024.
