This is my interpretation of "Pallade e il Centauro" by Sandro Botticelli. I chose this masterpiece as reference for its duality represented by two mythological figures; a deity and a hybrid creature; Pallas-Minerva, the Goddess of wisdom and reason and the centaur, symbol of instinct and bestiality.
In my version, I wanted to represent a centaur with a golden fleece, gold considered to be the color of the divine and spiritual elevation, which gives him a spiritual dimension. As for Pallas-Minerva, she is mysteriously luminous with a slight shade.
