“More of Us – Embellished”, grew from digital photographs I took at the Los Angeles March for Our Lives, 2018. I printed them onto clear film using inkjet ink and indiscriminately hand pressed them onto various papers. I used alcohol, watercolor pencil, stickers, found objects, stamps, pens and a UV coating to embellish them, highlighting or exaggerating the message on the sign. I create these to extend the feeling of protest and resistance.
