Wonder | International Photography Call for Entry
What: A projection and online photography exhibition with the theme of “wonder,” hosted by The Center for Fine Art Photography. Wonder can be a moment, it’s a feeling, a curiosity, an experiment or a discovery. It can also be the wonder of the natural world, fascinating cities, capricious animals and intriguing people around us. It is often what inspires us to take a photograph and save the moment.

What: As many as 50 artists will be selected from this competition to display their original works at this four-day cultural event attended by the world's leading primary dealers, as well as a highly-affluent concentration of prestigious collectors, interior designers, corporate art curators.

Call for Underwater Sculpture
What: The City of Pompano Beach is looking to commission an artist/artist team to design and fabricate a sculpture that will be displayed at the beach for a one year. After a year, it will be submerged into the ocean and attached to Lady Luck in Shipwreck Park. Shipwreck Park is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the creation of an underwater park system establishing artificial reefs, utilizing public art to raise awareness of the need to preserve and conserve our natural coral reef system.

What: The Pittsburgh Watercolor Society celebrates its 73rd anniversary with the international Aqueous Open 2018.

What: Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery invites artists to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the gallery’s online group art exhibition. No theme.

Materials Matter: Breaking with Tradition
What: The annual national exhibition asks artists who work in a variety of traditional materials — clay, glass, wood, metal or fiber/textile to submit original works that change traditional “ways of seeing” by demonstrating a break with the past or suggesting a new way forward, whether toward logical or illogical conclusions.

NEA Art Works Grant
What: Art Works is the National Endowment for the Arts’ principal grants program. Through project-based funding, Art Works grants support arts projects that celebrate our creativity and cultural heritage, invite mutual respect for differing beliefs and values, and enrich humanity.
Who: U.S. Artists
Application Deadline: July 12
Amount: Grants range from $10,000 to $100,000
Fine Print: Projects may be large or small, existing or new, and may take place in any part of the nation’s 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Learn more here.
Free Portfolio Critiques
What: PaidArtists.com and the Debate Art Project are offering free critiques for painting, drawing and/or sculpture portfolios. Artists who complied with the requirements will receive input from four different professionals in the form of a brief statement from each one.

What: An exhibition and art grant opportunity at Gallery 25N. One artist will receive the “Christopher E. Burke Fine Art Grant” of $500. This artist’s creation will become the exhibition image and will be used on the invitation, video title screen, and all online marketing pertaining to the exhibit.

What: The internationally renowned Passion for Freedom art festival opens once again in London at its new home in the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery & La Galleria Pall Mall. The exhibition will showcase uncensored art from the UK, Europe and around the world, promoting human rights, highlighting injustice and celebrating artistic freedom of expression.

Breckenridge, CO Call for Artists
What: Breckenridge Grand Vacations, in partnership with Breckenridge Creative Arts, requests proposals from individual artists or artist teams to design and implement a monumental figurative sculpture in a site-specific, outdoor location at the base of Peak 8 of the Ten Mile Range in Breckenridge, Colorado. The subject of this commissioned work will be an artistic interpretation of Ullr, the Norse god of snow.

Bryan Artist Residency 2018-2019
What: A residency program allowing the artist to spend their time creating, experimenting, adding to their portfolio, while also providing the artist their own retail space. The artist will receive a $3,000 stipend over the term of the residency, paid in monthly installments of $250.

“Finding Your Voice” Juried Show
What: Artists have used their voice to shed light on social, historical and political issues throughout history. For this juried show, Kelwood Contemporary Art would like to hear YOUR voice, sharing your perspective. Their intention with this show is to give voice to the full spectrum of stories and experience to promote understanding.

Spaetsommer Artist Residency: Germany
What: A short-term, self-directed residency offered by Annex:art, in cooperation with Kleindorf-art, located about 50 miles from Berlin, Germany. Residencies are two to six weeks long.
Who: International artists must be 21 years old to participate and eligible to travel to and stay in Germany for the period of the residency.
Application Deadline: July 31
Residency Dates: August 15 - October 15 (annually)
Location: Havelland County, Germany
Fee: The cost of a self-funded residency is $375/week and includes a private room and shared bath with use of the kitchen and other common area facilities. Food and beverages are extra. Monthly rates are available for longer-term residencies.
Fine Print: The program seeks applications from artists who have a specific purpose or project to be completed during the residency and whose participation in an international program will benefit his/her current career goals and funding opportunities. Learn more here.
Artrooms Fair London 2019
What: Artrooms is the first international contemporary art fair offering free exhibition spaces to independent artists, innovating the way artists and buyers meet. Artrooms Fair London 2019 takes place at the iconic Meliã White House Hotel near Regent’s Park in London. Artists will exhibit in hotel rooms to be transformed into their own creative and intimate studios.
