I worked at an event for the Jacksonville Zoo. Promoting the new Manatee Critical Care unit opening there. I did a series of manatee paintings to show at the event. This was one from that set.

Manatees are precious peaceful creatures that fill my heart when I see them. Sailors out at sea for months on end, would see them and think they were beautiful mermaids. I personally don't see that, but they are some of the sweetest beings I have ever come across.

This original acrylic painting is on a 16" X 20", 1 1/2" Gallery Wrapped canvas with blue edges. Has flush mount wire hanger and is ready to hang as is or can be framed.
