Lori Ferguson is a fine artist with a working studio based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

 Lori's work is impressionistic in nature and full of characteristic brush strokes and a palpable quality of energy and motion, something she has become well known for. While in past years Lori spent a significant amount of time exploring other mediums, in her current artistic work she has chosen to use oil paint as her main weapon of choice as it has proven to be the perfect medium to express her creativity with quality, richness and depth.

Although her upbringing was in a small prairie town, Lori has always been a city girl at heart and is currently thriving in a bustling urban environment which provides ample inspiration for movement and colour in her art. The artistic drive, combined with a pursuit of excellence, has lead her to expect that her work will communicate her thoughts and ideals to her community with quality. She strives to cause the viewer to experience and feel something deeper in the familiar and everyday places and people they encounter.

Lori has exhibited her work in a number of solo and group exhibitions and galleries across Manitoba. Her paintings can be found in private collections throughout Canada.
