Over time I've really come to love the gray ocean scenes so abundant in the Pacific Northwest. There is something so calming about the smell of the ocean, the breeze through your hair, the rhythmic distant foghorns, and the occasional bird hunting... daring closer as you eye each other. There is something about bringing all of the senses gently into play that is soothing to the soul.
