Being Rabbit is about capturing the magic of the imagination. Dressed in vintage rabbit fake fur, pom pom tail cut from antique curtains and platform bunny slippers she is indeed "telling you" (see the name of the book) to recognize her for what she is. A creative being invested in her story. Not a thing to consider other than that!
